PROJ #1: SELF-DIPTYCH
DIRECTIONS.
Where are you right now? Who are you right now? It may have been last week, or three years ago, but you ended Photo 1 with a self-portrait. We will begin Photo 2 with a similar, but shorter version of a self-portrait. This should present to us a dichotomy (contrast) about your self.
1. One image must include you.
2. One image must represent you in some way.
*Both images might have you in it.
3. We will assemble the diptych on a template next class.
Of course, you can set-up the photos.
But they can also be quick snapshots of yourself done on the fly.
Either will work.
NOTE: If you're tired, happy, irritable, angry, optimistic, apathetic, energized, content, feeling off...use it.
HW: Make 5-10 photographs to mix/match into a diptych next class.
*Note: we will be printing these images for display in the library/commons/classroom.
