PROJECT #5--PHOTOG'S CHOICE #2 (Shutter priority)

DIRECTIONS.
1. Set camera to S (shutter priority),  
2. Choose 12 moving subjects. 
3. For each subject, photograph it (at least) TWICE, at different shutter speeds. 

RATIONALE: continued exploration and mastery of manipulating shutter speed in your camera. 

SCORING.
Each well-made and intentional photo will be counted as one point, for a 12 point total. 

Make a range of photos that show fast & slow shutter speeds. 

Subject matter is your own choosing.

DIRECTIONS.
1. Set camera to S (shutter priority) -or- Use the Slow Shutter app on your phone.
2. Make 16 images of intentional motion blur.
3. For each subject, photograph it (at least) TWICE, at different shutter speeds.

NOTE.
*Mind your ISO in relation to your shutter speed.
**You will be turning in 32 images in total (two different versions of your 16 motion blur ideas. 

SCORING.
  • Each well-made pair of intentional motion blur images will count as one point, for a 16 point total. 
  • Make a range of photos that show fast & slow shutter speeds. 
  • Only eight of your ideas can be photographed on campus. The other eight must be from your personal life/time off campus (to provide variety, and require you to pick up your camera outside of class time).
  • Subject matter is your own choosing.
