FINAL DIGITAL: GUARANTOR POWERS SELF-PORTRAIT, Parts 1 & 2

DIRECTIONS, PART 1.
1. By Thursday, May 24, make a self-portrait that is a representation of how you see yourself.

PART 2 will be comprised of two additional self-portraits.
Each of those two additional self portraits will be a representation of how you think two guarantor powers view you.

What does this mean?
1. Identify two guarantor powers in your life.
2. Identify ways that each of those guarantor powers have influenced/affected/enhanced/restricted/controlled/etc. your life.
3. Identify ways that each of those guarantor powers interact with you.
4. How do those powers view you?
5. What do those guarantor powers expect of you?
6. What do those guarantor powers not expect of you?
7. Once you have specified these points - for yourself, and without talking about this to your guarantor powers - make TWO additional self portraits that represent how your two guarantor powers view you.

*Look back at the symbolism from your Photo 1 final self-portrait project.
**This 'guarantor power' project is different, in that you are now to make images that are not about how YOU feel think you, but rather how THEY think of you.
**This should take some idea generation time, and in the end, be three well thought-out and executed self portraits that will be assembled into a triptych.
